FSSAI Registration

In India, food industry has become one of the most demanding and profitable business industry. What is FSSAI Registration?

Any business owner or FBO (Food Business Operator) or entrepreneur who wish to start its business in the food industry which may relate to food manufacturing, food processing, packaging or distribution has to take a registration for FSSAI License as per the FSS Act, 2006.
FSSAI is the authority which is responsible for monitoring the businesses registered as per FSS Act, 2006. FSSAI Registration and FSSAI License are two different terms which are sometimes used interchangeably. But, there is a difference between both of them in terms of size and nature of the business.
